To my knowledge the big three usually think of anything they pay for as being first party. I guess we'd call it 2nd party but I've never heard them use that term. So as far as I know MS calling Ryse and KI first party games goes perfectly in line with how console manufacturers separate games. First party is anything they paid for, third party is anything others paid for.
