I find these kind of prediction threads a bit pointless. I've got nothing against predicting lifetime sales, but not only are there a multitude of unknowns, but these kind of things take forever to pan out. First-week, first-month, even first-year seems reasonable, but by the time sales flat-line, most people will probably have forgotten about their predictions here.
With that said, I'll still predict...
6 million. Max.

Ya I guess they are a bit pointless but its just for fun. I like seeing the differences in opinions and possibly some nice discussions.

Not so much the threads themselves as their quantity. And some people taking these sort of threads too seriously.
My only problem with predicting this game is that there's not a whole lot known right now, and the Wii U is a little too uncertain for me to be entirely confident about my prediction.
|
Hint: The WII U is selling worse than the gamecube as of now. I hope that helped re-evaluate your prediction.
|
I'm aware. But at the same time, the Gamecube came out over a decade ago. Direct comparisons between consoles so far-removed are troublesome, at best.
|
Hint: The WII U is still more expensive than gamecube at the time even with inflation accounted for plus this economy is shit so don't expect it to be nice towards to what looks like a dreamcast 2.0 or gamecube HD.
|
Hint: Ps3 and Xbox 360 sold about 5 mill consoles on its first year, not really that far from what Wii U is now
and certainly in that time no one was complaining about how little was, but oh, the important thing is to doom nintendo
Pd: I am aware that the wiiu need to sell more, but the wiiu "apocalyptic" attitude is just awful
Pd2: Oh, for me this game is having 4-12 mill sells, even more if the console owners grow in number
|
4-12m? Might as well as said between zero and infinity lol be more specific
