Finally watched the Direct.

My thoughts:

Mario 3D World looks awesome. The art direction, the level design, the mechanics...all great from what I saw. Although I've been on the 3D World bandwagon from the beginning ;)

I find myself (surprisingly) interested in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. The series never really appealed to me before, but I like the events and I love the national rankings system.

Sonic Lost World continues to look good, although it was overshadowed by Mario. Got my special edition pre-ordered :)

Wii Party U looks like a lot of fun with friends, but not the deepest, most rewarding game.

Bravely Default is looking quite good. Reminds me a lot of its spiritual predecessor, The 4 Heroes of Light. Some of the voice acting was a little hammy, but hardly a deal-breaker.

New Kirby! Awesome news, especially for all the die-hard Kirby fans out there. I still need to do a lot of catching up with that series.

And, last but not least, Zelda. Really looking forward to this game. I'm still a little unclear as to how this item rental process functions, but I trust Aonuma and company to make it work. I would just add that I really like the convention whereby each dungeon hides a unique item that allows Link to solve that dungeon's puzzles and defeat its monsters. It's a big part of what Zelda is, and it works. But, like I said, I trust Kyoto Group 3 implicitly. So I'm onboard.
