Wait a moment, that sounds awful. You mean I can be in the middle of a boss fight and the item needed to defeat the boss can just stop working because I used it too many times?

I think it will be more like one rent at a time. You rent the hammer, you can't the hookshoot. Until you bring back the first one, you can't have the second one.

I also believe at first you can't buy them, maybe something after a while will let you get that option. Beating the dungeon could be, as you said, but I don't think so.
