You are just making that up part.If we have no idea how they will solve the non-linearity in the 3DS game, even less for the WiiU one.

And having X object doesn't mean that we will be able to beat said dungeon just using it and nothing else.

Have you noticed that we can rent or buy the objects? Why the 2 options? The rent will be based on time or uses? I have the feeling that when we rent them, we wont have enough time/uses to go to the dungeon and beat it, encouraging you to get the real deal, which will only be able by having a prior object, etc.

The question is if buying is the only option to get the objects, which I hope isn't. That is, unless the implement a work system/missions that allow you to earn enough money to buy them. And that by itself will also be a game changer.

That why I said it could mean a lot.

Wait and see.

I'm not making anything up. You can get the Hammer and finish the Hammer dungeon (which has already been playable, unless that dungeon was made for demo purposes). If you don't want to do that, you can get the Hookshot and go do the Hookshot dungeon instead. What's the point of letting you do the dungeons in any order if you still need to get the items in a certain order to complete them?
