You would be completely out of the story. If you are going to play KH, you need to start with KH1.

Hmm. I'll wait for the reviews, see what they say. I don't know how the multiplayer will work in 358/2, and it might not even be any good (the multiplayer that is). Then I'll hope for a KHI&II remake for the DS or something because I won't be picking up a PS2 just to play the first two when all I want to do is play my roommates brother on the multiplayer.
