"get back to work as soon as possible" says obama... even though a majority ARE NOT AFFECTED as they have already had a temp lay off in effect starting monday of many gov employees... good timing i guess...
"war in Afghanistan coming to a close soon" says obama... surprised as not a lot of mention there since the war started right after 9/11/01
edit: basically Obama has already outspent our US budget enough to lay off gov employess who were only working 4 days a week and on temp lay off this past monday anyways... but hey lets spend a bunch of money we don't have because the politicians taking pay cuts is out of the question!
