Well this is the second game they confirmed that they have a game visually above current-gen PS360 with that along that this is Ninntendo's newest home console confirms it is next-gen!!! Anyways just because X1 will be slightly less powerful than the PS4 (don't kill me MS fanboys) doesn't mean X1 won't be next-gen. Wii U is definitely the least powerful of the 3 consoles but it won't have the same amount of diffrence that was found on Wii vs PS360. Hell, the Wii U already runs all their games consistently on 720p vs some sub-HD games found on PS360.

Yes, and that's all fair enough. But they specifically point out that it isn't next gen by saying that it's "somewhere in between" current and next. A bit more of an insult than a compliment, to be honest.

Unfortunately with how the media is unjustly bashing the system (no one is whining that the PS4/X1 is running under 2GHz) and mis-informing the public on how underpowered the system is even compared to PS360; this would be a compliment. It's funny how they view Espresso so underpowered to Xenon when it's more efficient per cycle than X360 CPU. (this is coming from a big Xbox360 fan)
