This is why I can never get into game developement, I am never a team player.
and the best games are always the ones that come mostly from just one director (like Hideo Kojima for example) instead of multiple directors, that way the "Vision" becomes more clear and more personal
Are is a solitary expression with one self, not implying the expressions of others, which is why music artists that rely on others to write their songs for them always fail to perform a meaningful song.

So you basically think that the team should have no input on the game, they should just do what the director says? I'm not sure that's the best way to get a productive workplace. Naughty Dog (who have definitely made at least 2 of the best 10 games of the generation (if not the 2 best)) have a system where everyone is free to experiment and suggest new things. Do you really think that MGS could not have been approved if someone had gone to Hideo and suggested that he shorten the cut-scenes somewhat?
As for the OP, I was under the impression that they had expanded to 2 teams a while ago, but apparently not. Anyway, I don't really think that this is too much to get excited for, the game won't be out for another 2 years

Lol no not totallly "No input" , I am talking about directors who give all the work to their team and then do their work after the team is already finished, and the games where they have multiple directors, that is always bad, a director needs to direct not be directed, of course suggestions and all that are alright , but not to the point of the Writer becomes director (like Dragon Age) , or the Artist becomes director in a way that their influence overpower the director's vision and the game gets very biased, Dragon Age have good characters , but terrible everything else for example.

Surely you want a director, then sub-directors? Someone in charge of the overall direction, but then different people to control different bits. Having 2 people in charge can be a good thing, see the Last of Us
