NSMBU has had 3 updates already, so while they aren't releasing broken games (yet) they are now comfortable releasing unfinished games. Whether or not Nintendo customers who don't own the Wii U have higher standards is irrelevant, as they obviously aren't going to be buying Wii U games. And anyone who owns a Wii U can't claim to have high standards anymore. This is a system releasing 6-7 years after the PS3 & 360, yet markedly slower with promised features still missing.

What did those updates add? That goes for all three games.

As for the other point, the hardware has to be bought to get to the games. In the Wii U's case that means to bite the bullet and buy bad hardware, but that in no way means that standards for software drop at the same time.

NSMBU added Miiverse functionality, then fixed the Miiverse functionality, then added compatiblity with DLC & Pro controller. Nintendo Land had bug fixes and loading screen improvements. Pikmin 3 added Miiverse, rankings and SpotPass. The fact that they created SpotPass for their games shows they are embracing the "ship now fix later" philosophy.

I don't know if standards for software will drop. Will I put up with broken games if they turn into Nintendo games after a few months of patching? I don't know. I now know I will put up with an unfinished console, but that isn't something I wanted to find out.
