PSP making a comeback in the States as well?

If the Cheap model is this giant box with 4 games and a 99 USD price tag, then yes. First I have seen of it. Really good deal actually. I borrowed a friends early in the PSP's life cycle. Only watched it for movies back then but it was really nice.

They have a DS and 3DS...and GBA. My youngest boy want's an ipod, but I think this is a better deal for me. Although he does have a Birthday as well as Christmas coming up.

To be honest, you would be better served grabbing him an iPod.

You will save a ton on games (Since many great games are super cheap or free) and it doubles as a music player and very good mobile internet device, also if you or anyone else he knows has an iDevice he gets free text messaging with iMessages. The PSP would really be just gaming alone.

 

In the end the iPod will end up more than paying for itself.

 

 

Edit - Not sure if Apple devices are subject to employee discounts, but even if not you could grab a 4th gen 16GB iPod touch for $175. That's a much better deal than the $99 PSP as he will have an instant access to thousands of free titles.
