This is what always gets me about gamerankings pointers. They like to cherrypick to make their library look better, but when you check out the data, it's like 4 good games and a lot of filler, then you click the Wii list and you got, like SMG, MP3, and Zelda on top.

Filler games are only important on the internet. If you don't believe me, then go buy some.

You're playing the PS2, the king of filler games, right now. Obviously, filler games are important. Without them you will be waiting years in between the AAA games.

You're being too lose with the term "filler game" I'm going back and playing the great ones I missed, lol. Like Tales of Symphonia, or Killer 7 for gamecube, or Paper Mario for N64.

 

I guess if you wanna classify them as fillers, then your right, but honestly, who is ever gonna go back and say "Man, I missed this awesome game, Major League Baseball 06: The Show" or even "Ridge Racer" and play through those "classics" again.

 

After the PS3 E3 2 years ago, "Riddddggggee Racer!" is a parody for epic fail, and an example of how to fail at hyping a game nobody cares about.

 

So many sports and sim racing games on the PSP, and I didn't even know those were genres that anyone would bother playing on a handheld.

 

It's like, when you see on TV, oooohh Madden 09 on DS! Does anyone really go "ZOMG! First day purchase." It's kinda like CoD4 in DS, lol. Who buys this crap!?

 

Filler sucks.
