Single-player progress won't carry over when upgrading some games to next-gen

Well some people aren't getting one at launch .Some will get one in 5+ months from now. And some people can't wait like you can. 

Yeah I guess.  I don't know I just have absolutely no interest in buying a 7th gen game if I know it'll be smoother and bigger on 8th gen.  All these upgrade and carry over programs seem like a headache and extra transactions for the company that, if I were them, I wouldn't want to worry about.
