Remember popular franchises that people associated with the playstation actually started out on other machines i.e - Tomb Raider. Initially the Sega Sturn was outselling the Playstation esp. in Japan. But i digress - But CD gaming is definately not something that should beclaimed "disruptive" in favour of the PSX. |
It doesn't matter who came first with the technology, what matters most is who puts it to use therefore PS1 absolutely deserves the right to be a disruptive platform. Like I said innovation means jack if no one puts it to use just like the wii u gamepad.
