Also, this decision to port the game to 3DS and Wii U came after they were rejected by Sony. Sven wich was the vice-president of capcom US told us that. Its fact, while what you are saying is speculation. Its totally on Sony. They have certainly learned to not be arrogant anymore, but that was a lesson they learned the hard way. On the bright side, Microsoft is starting to learn what arrogance leads you to aswell. So all in all, its good to teach some lessons to these companies so they start acting high and mighty and do their job, wich is to give their customers what they need. |
I would believe you if I honestly believed the execs at Sony were that stupid. The person with the power to essentially bury the entire Vita because they didn't wanna spend relatively pennies to fix ad-hoc party would not be that stupid cause he would like his job. On top of that Sony Japan would have fixed it themselves if they had to. And Svenson was asked about portable 3rd back in 2011, a little before the game was announced for the 3DS. And unless Capcom made the game in roughly a year, work on the 3DS version most likely started earlier. And to be frank, I'd rather believe my speculation than the run around from Capcom. Those are the same guys who's reasoning for Monster Hunter 4 not being on the Wii U is because Monster Hunter as a series needs to be exclusive, despite the fact that they said that during a press release of Monster Hunter 3 on 3DS/Wii U. Cause they couldn't think of a proper excuse to hide the fact that Nintendo gave them a lot of money for Monster Hunter on 3DS only. Did you also hear their excuse for Resident Evil Revelations not being on the Vita? Cause the screen was too small. Cause you know, the 3DS' screen is 52inches.
