Clearly you missed the part of my post where I said that TW2 wasn't a technical marvel. It was a DX9 renderer and it's over 2 years old. And they still had to make large cutbacks to get it to run on X360. The Witcher 3 is their next gen game that is not even possible on PS360, massive open world with astounding level of detail, huge leaps in animation, and a dynamic and reactive world. And even that is still an early game for next gen.

No, I actually agree that TW is not a technical marvel. Which is exactly my point - the PS4 games won't be the "technical marvels" that you seem to expect. They'll be incrementally better that current gen games.

But there will be games that are technically far more advanced than the Witcher 2, in fact there already are. The Witcher 3 looks to be a lot more technically up to date than 2 was tho, and it looks bloody impressive and it's constantly improving as they add new features. It seems pretty odd to use a 2 year old game that wasn't technically groundbreaking (tho with outstanding art) as an example of the lack of technical advanacement in next generation games that aren't even out yet. Developers are constantly coming up with new tricks and effects to produce better resaults.
