Come on, be honest, do you seriously not believe a userbase difference of 30m had anything to do with it?

In September 2011 the 3DS wasn't that good in sales until like November 2011. Remember the 3D Nintendo is doom stories back then.

Plus it showed that Capcom had already been working on it before February 26 2K11.
