Its always from a financial standpoint dude. It takes money to pay people to work for you.it takes time for those people to produce results. Why did some companies spend too much money on games? Because they didnt realize the time needed would be longer and cost them more money. Nintendo does not have an endless supply of labor. They do not have a crystal ball telling them before hand to hire new people. The only difference between them and some other companies is they have the money to keep going. They dont have to ship short games or unfinished games, but that doesnt mean they can go out and hire 500 new workers and have every game finished in a week. Companies who have money, only have it because they are responsible with it. |
That's my point a company like nintendo that is one of the largest and oldest game developer you really think would not know how to handle (encompassing all aspects of it) HD development? A company that was around when the console industry crashed, a company that pushed 3D gaming forward,a company that enhanced gaming through touch and motion controls, a company that experimented with a 3d console that made your eyes bleed, would not know how to handle HD development? Something that has been around for the past eight or so years, I think nintendo deserves more credit than that.
If I actually believed nintendo was having trouble and did not foresee how HD development would be, then as long standing nintendo fan I would have to say they no place being in the home console business.
