No. Wii had Wii Sports and Wiimote, it makes all the difference in the world compared to WiiU situation - I doubt any amount of Mario can remedy that.
They decided to abandon successful philosophy that made Wii, and compete head on with MSony - fine, it's their decision, but they should have made it much stronger in that case.
