Yep, they added a new weapon I hear. Also, the checkpoints were probably added because of this being a portable game, although you can always turn it off mid-game. Perhaps not, though, maybe they just felt it needed more. I enjoy a lot of checkpoints.
PSP's lineup just got 4 games in the upper 70's and above (Downstream Panic, Wipeout Purlse, Patapon, and GoW:CoO), 2 in the top 7, and this game that is the highest rated portable game of this generation (based on reviews so far). Good month of PSP games.
Oh, and Crisis Core is at 90% on metacritic so far with 4 reviews. That's the game I most look forward to, but I can't wait to play all 5 of these games.
