I've been saying this for months. The thing that screwed up the Xbox One were the leaks. The leaks were all about what people would be losing and nothing about the benefits. Without the leaks, they would've controlled the message and the community would've responded differently for the most part. While I enjoy a good leak as much as anyone, ultimately they are destructive as they often present only a portion (usually negative) of a product or service. And, as a teacher once told our class many times (annoyingly I'll add): a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing.

There have been so many leaks this year.  And to a large extent, some fairly accurate ones.

Sure some completely fake ones too.  News can be good or bad depending who you hear it from and how, even if it is the same information.  You make a good point.
