What statistics? My argument is that the statistics are moot in lieu of the fact that Game Reviewers are not an objective measure of a game's worth. Game Reviews measure games based on elements on tailored towards particular audiences, and since each game has a different appeal to each audience it invalidates the idea that a reviewer or cross section there of can accurately determine whether a game is good or not.
People only ever try and claim game reviews are proof of a games worth after the fact. They aren't proof and are far less reliable than many would like to give them credit.
