If it were Wii U exclusive, even as a "timed" exclusive as the ones on PS2 were:
A) Fanboys everywhere would shit themselves far worse than when Bayonetta 2 was announced.
B) Yes, it would still help Wii U sales tremendously, because despite the mass-bitching, many people love GTA so much that they would buy a console just to play it.
Honestly, even though I am not a fan of the series myself, I just hope that Wii U eventually gets a port when the other new consoles do.
