If consoles sales are all about the software, then what's the point Wii U's second screen?

I played skyward sword on a couch FYI^


Really the only improvements Nintendo can make to motion control is update the nunchuk and make a WiIU zapper with the gamepad being the scope attachment and FOV for an FPS

 

In the meantime we can play FPS's with the wiimote using the gamepad as the ir sensor .
