It's not a mistake. Look at my link again. IBM has NOTHING to do with the manufacturing of eDRAM in the GPU die. The L2 Cache of Espresso is actual eDRAM, albeit, from IBM. The eDRAM from the GPU die is from Renesas, where the MCM was manufactured.

Being based off Broadway means nothing if it performs much beter than expected. Again, referring to the matmul SIMD test where it confortably sits around modern processors on pure SIMD code, something it doesn't really have.
