I woudn't know, but they sure made him look a lot slower when they brought Sonic and Diddy Kong; especialy Diddy K.
I thought I was going to like diddy kong, but (me personaly) I think he was one of the most unbalanced fighters in brawl; which was why I started hating him more and used him for a punching bag.
