Minimum number of reviews is set to 5.

Playstation 3:
80%+: 13 games
85%+: 3 games
90%+: 1 game

Playstation Portable:
80%+: 44 games
85%+: 15 games
90%+: 1 game

Nintendo Wii
80%+: 5 games
85%+: 2 games
90%+ 1 game

Nintendo DS
80%+: 33 games
85%+: 13 games
90%+: 3 games

The Playstation Portable, and Playstation 3 have more games that recieved reviews of 80%+ than the Nintendo DS, and Nintendo Wii. So why is the Nintendo DS, and Nintendo Wii selling more than the Playstation Portable, and Playstation 3? I have no idea. Maybe because the Playstation Portable, and Playstation 3 are too expensive.

However, when you compare the games on each system that got reviews of 85%+, the numbers are much closer. In fact, the Playstation 3 has only 1 more game, that got reviews of 85%+, than the Nintendo Wii. Same with the Playstation Portable, and the Nintendo DS. Now, if we view the games that recieved reviews of 90% or more, on the consoles, the Playstation 3 has just as many as the Nintendo Wii, and the Nintendo DS has two more than the Playstation Portable.

Also, the only game that recieved reviews of 90%+ on the Playstation 3, got worse reviews than the only game that recieved reviews of 90%+ on the Nintendo Wii. Yes, Twilight Princess was named "Game of the Year" on multiple websites, and got higher reviews than Resistance: Fall of Man.

To conclude, the Playstation Portable, and Playstation 3 have more "good" games, and slightly more "great" games, than the Nintendo DS, and Nintendo Wii. But, the Nintendo Wii's only "awesome" game is better than the Playstation 3's only "awesome game, and the Nintendo DS has two more "awesome" games than the Playstation Portable. Most people only buy a few games for each console they own, and are most likely going to buy the "awesome" games first. Since the Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo DS, have more, and better, "awesome" games than the Playstation Portable, and Playstation 3, and cost less, this may be one of the major reasons why Nintendo is now outselling Sony.
