At the time, Killer Instinct was my fighting game of choice. It was coming to the "Nintendo ULTRA 64!", it had the best graphics of any game ever created on the face of the earth, it had Street Fighter gameplay and Mortal Kombat Finishing moves. I loved it. Not so much Killer Instinct 2, though. So glad the new version is being done justice. Not enough fighters for me these days, I'm not as easily wowed by graphics, and Street Fighter reclaimed its place as my favorite fighter since then but I still hope there's a place for KI in our hearts.
