Most people bought it for Nintendo games, I don't think anyone really cares about the power consumption of the console. I have one, and finally convinced my brother to buy one after pushing him on it for two months, I tried to get another Wii-friendly friend to bite, but so far no dice, but I've more than done my part. Hell, I even bought Wonderful 101.
