That was the big deal. I think they were already widely perceived as some of the worst ripoff artists before that, though. That just cemented their reputation as scumbags par excellence.

On the flip side it seems like Bethesda took all that horse armor criticism to heart. They are far and away one of the best when it comes to making meaningful DLC, IMO.
