Obviously he 3DS will render the Vita irrelevant there so Sony only has home consoles to keep the Playstation brand as strong there.  What if somehow the WiiU gets some traction? Sony may regret neglecting and taking for granted one of their second most important market.  Who knows.

are you even trying?  sony will sell everything they produce regardless.  selling in japan won't net any significant change to their cash flow then selling in the UK/US this year.

..my logic does not at all say ms shouldn't launch in the UK.  it says MS should launch in more than 13 regions, but 13 it is scaled back from 21.  sony is putting MS is on the defensive  against sony in MS's strongest regions by diverting as much stock as can sell to those regions.   and if MS loses their advantage in the US and UK,..  game over xbox.


Sony is launching in 33 countries, i believe.
