The price cut is not going to have a meaningful impact. It was announced on the 28 of August yet no drop in sales occurred.

Huh?  It's not just a price cut.  It's also alongside a new bundle with a Zelda game, as well as Zelda being on the eShop.   It will for sure increase hardware sales.  I don't even think there's a question about it.

Of course it has things besides the price cut, but this limited data shows the announcement of the price cut didn't change purchasing habits. You'd think people would wait a week or two and save $50 but Rayman gave a nice bump. WW should definitely give an even nicer bump. Any large increase in Wii U sales would be because of that game though, not the price cut.
