Wow! The same time last year, Wii sold 4862K. This year it sold 7522K! That is a solid increase! And as it was sold out during whole last year too, and that means the production has gone up with about 55%, which is totally insane!
It is probably more than that too, since they had stockpiled for launch.
This tecnically means that Nintendo had thought the Wii would sell less that half of what it has (since they thought it would dip a bit), and therefore, they were prepared for a 3rd place.
And Avi, why is it a problem that he ignored the supply issues? According to you, they are always going to be there, and therefore production increase is the only matter, which also means that his post was correct.
You know, it is acceptable that the other consoles are doing good too, you know. After all, 3489K more so far is pretty amazing. The Wii did a 2555K (abouts) increase.
What you are doing, is excluding the Europe fact when looking at total sales, AND including it when it favours your "statistics".
