Lets start with personal expenses. The only thing I dont pay for is my 5000 dollar deductible insurance. If I go to the doctors for a migraine...I pay 175 dollars out of my pocket. Part of my 1200 dollar a month budget includes 150 a month being put aside for car repairs. It wouldnt be called living on my own if my parents paid for that stuff...thatd be a funny joke though. Im able to do that stuff because I know whrn to spend and when to save

as for college...as indicated my parents have helped with about 2000 for my entire schooling. My 1st year was paid by the state (yes, funded by govt but was available to anybody in top half of grade). 2nd and 3ed year I got a 2000 presidential scholarship...which is proba ly funded by private donations that go into a school controlled fund. The 4th year I got a 1000 scholarship from a private accounting firm (will probably get the same this year). Also, I get my education credit for taxes up to 1000 more tham I paid in taxes...also available to everybody.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.
