Imagine a sandwich with mayonnaise in it. You have it on one side of the bread before closing it. If you wanted to remove it, you wouldn't close the pieces of bread together first, would you? huehuehue. Though I know it isn't the exact same thing, you should be getting what I'm trying to say here on why people do it sitting.
