You are bordered on a country that harbors terrorists that come over into your country like they please and can go back without fear of retaliation. Real terrorists that hold 700 people hostage and almost wrecked your country? With a jungle border you cannot secure.
I can understand the Colombian commander and Chavez is the biggest hypocrite around. The "internation law" way would be to officially complain at the Ecuadorian embassy about these incursions and to declare war after they didn't do anything about the problem. Don't know if this would be better.
