wow...  so sony makes a patent to can used games but all of a sudden watching the net cry babies tearing microsoft a new one they backed off.  you can guarantee if the babies would have been fine with it sony would have done the same.  why?  with drm they could've have came with a new pricing model.  think about it like this what if with the drm stuff you could have  bought a new game for $35 while ps4 games are $60?  yeah they would have done it alright.  so when you rub that crystal ball or call cleo theyll show  that the vocal minority was more responsible for delaying where the industry is headed.

Do you have any evidence to back your claim that it was because of the backlash that microsoft had ? BTW you probably don't have any seeing as how sony made clear in feburary that they wouldn't put any restrictions on things such as check ins or used games. Oh and most of us hate crappy developers so their games deserve not to profit at all.

do you have any evidence that it wasnt?  watch this.  i'm not putting restrictions on used  games either.  see how a mouth can say anything?  when did they make it clear lol.  if it would have been all that clear the e3 hoopla over it wouldve been meh.  even neoGAF made a stupid #NODRM at sony and they are a bunch of know it alls.  sony was never clear on it until e3.  the only reason microsoft got so much flack was because the #dealwithit idiot piss people off and it was downhill from there.

its their patent.  there has never been anyone that filed a patent they were never thinking about.  schematics just dont appear out of then air.  i really don't know what to think about people that believe them
