Spyro is not a new IP and the orginal game was very much promoted as a Spyro game, no matter how you want to spin it. NOW after it became popular then Spyro is kind of pushed to the back.

True, but Spyro and Rayman share about the same level of relevance nowadays, which still disproves soundwave's point (since he lumps Rayman in there)

i disagree, Spyro was (until they gave up and started this Skylanders thing) was way more relevant, as they were still actually MAKING Spyro games, they werent doing that with Rayman until just recently and im not counting the ports they keep making of Rayman 2
