Why Konami games don´t sell well on the 3DS?

With the exception of Metal Gear Solid, usually, I don't think Konami games sell well in general. Even one of their most famous franchises, Castlevania, has tiny sales. It's a wonder the series has survived for almost 30 years. That said, I can't say I know anything about the quality of these 3DS games though. All I know is I played the Mirror of Fate Demo and thought it was decent, but not decent enough to actually buy the game...
