Vgchartz pre-orders are always off. Also, PS4 Pre-orders are sold out, so the gap has to close. Your going to see both sell out until after christmas. Then it is up to MS marketing machine to fix the launch and remind people they have the best games ( which they are already doing a good job off, they haven't even started). Sony fans are all up in arms because it's a rocky start, the system HAS NOT SOLD YET! Next christmas we can have this talk, XBOX ONE is going to be selling like hot cakes by then, HALO and by then, no one will remember the DRM issue.

XBox One is going to sell great. I also think it's going to be close like this gen. The first year PS4 will have the advantage but once HALO and price drops, Xbox One will gain momentum. I say first year PS4, second xbox One.


Ps3 outsold 360 despite being more expensive and late, a price drop won;'t save MS and magically make them outsell Ps4 WW, how do you think they outsell sony WW? It will not happen, and it won't be that close.

 

Halo, Sony will annouce uncharted and other big exclusives and PS4 will continue sailing. 360 had halo. Halo is not god, it is not going to single handedly make MS outsell the PS4, not even close. Playstation is too strong and has advantages this gen it never had last.

 

PS: Sony will end up dropping the price of PS4 eventually, like every console ever made. MS isn't gonna start dropping the price in the first year.
