I actually don't know much about the Vita other than it's doing bad, so my apologies.

Anyway, Frontier is considered to be the worst in the franchise. Unless is proven wrong this year, non of the 3 new versions will do well.

Lots of software has done very well on Vita. Despite its tiny userbase, lots of third parties keep making announcing games for it.
