I played some game with head tracking on PC some years ago. I didn't like it much, it just feels unnatural, because you have to move your head, but your eyes keep focused on the screen. It's really strange, I can't even describe it. It just doesn't equal the natural movement you would do in RL.

But maybe it just takes some getting used to, I don't know. Nice feature nonetheless, as everyone who doesn't want to use it can just ignore it.

never tried on PC but it makes sense since you are closer to the screen.... the proximity can be an issue...

and if it's translation they are talking about and not turning your head it might be completely different....  imagine covered behind a wall tilting on the side a little to have a peak...

I actually do see more subtle moviements worth while which can take the place of a button on a controller.  I believe motion has a place in FPS games where you use it for subtle things like bringing up a different hud.

but thart's the entire point, not adding yet another input on the pad, there are way to many stuff already.... if I want detailed accurate inputs with gazillion of options I play on PC with a keyboard and mouse.... if I opt for a pad it's for leisure not accuray and competitive play...

of course pad input can provide more accuracy.... that is not what I'm looking for, I'm looking for fun factor and originality. that's why a lot of people don't like kinect, they are just way too serious when they play games..... me I'd rather say "GRENADE!!!!!!" than push a button since I already say stupid shit anyway when I throw grenades in halo for instance.... what would be awesome at some point is to create your own voice command for games.... I'd go all john McClane
