Then these people disagree with the list and come to sites like this to post, rant and debate, generating ad revenue for VGchartz.

Overall its a massive waste of your time as no relevant information is exchanged and you've made money for someone else checking out and debating something completely meaningless.

I don't know. Despite the horrible need to go through all those pages (something specially pesky on an IOS device), I like lists and the discussion they generate.
