Yes, and I think it gets worse until it gets better. Violence against gay people, or those perceived as such as dramatically risen in New York City, about 340% since Same Sex Marriage was approved in New York State.
It some of the 'death crys' of bigotry, as I see it. And it should settle down in while to lower than it was before.
Still, feel bad for the other people that were murdered, and their friends and families.
