Despite the seamingly obvious power difference of the two plattforms, nearly everyone is saying that it will take time to see differences in Games, because developers need to get used to a plattform to fully utilize it. While this makes sense vor all the consoles in the past, Xbone and PS4 are basically PCs, right? Sure the SDKs, including drivers and software will be different, but the basic structure and hardware is known for years. So why shall it take so much time and not be visible right from the start? Nextgen is already here btw.: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qq7-hTVP9AE (Crysis HS) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJx-iBco9Ms (Skyrim HD) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmTPk9jQ5zs (GTA 4 HD) A capable PC, a hdmi cable and a controller is all you need. ;) |
The difference will be apparent day one, but it'll also increase over time. Launch games will be closer than games 5 years from now.
