She (at least I think) is using personal opinions in the middle of her "professional review" (I'm pretty sure you learn your not supposed to do that when your...15) and using that personal opinion to bring the score down...that's why people got upset. The IGN reviewer (who also looks like a man) never got hate cause she was a woman.
