Zelda needs a reboot and this is a chance for the franchise to shine.

Zelda needs to become OPEN WORLD in the sense that it become a sandbox like these other big games like skyrim or GTA.

Zelda needs also needs to stress more ACTION in the action adventure genre rather than annoying puzzles meaning zelda needs more focus and depth on combat.

Zelda needs to turn into an RPG and what I mean by this is that you choose the role that link will play such as whether he will become a warrior, mage, or healer and this will probably make the game have alot more depth while also brining some good side content on the game as well.

No, Zelda shouldn't become Skyrim lol

I didn't ask for it to become a skyrim clone and plus skyrim has awful combat. I was looking into kingdoms of amalur reckoning or the witcher for some inspiration.

You freaking want  Link as a healer. Zelda is a Action Adventure. Puzzles are natural. Combat was never the main thing in Zelda. Exploration, Dungeon Crawling. That's why everyone was dissapointed by SS. You don't understand why everybody to this day loves the first Zelda, or a Link to the past or Ocarina of Time....

I didn't say that i wanted link as a healer just an option if others choose to do so. I'm sorry but puzzles are annoying in this day and age and thats why almost every puzzle game but portal fails. If combat wasn't the main reason the game sold then I dare nintendo to make a zelda game that is not a spinoff without combat. I'm pretty sure one of the most criticized parts about Ocarina of Time was the water temple lol.

Water Temple isn't hated for the puzzles. It's hated for the crazy structure of the temple. Also it's heavily underrated cause it has the most amazing room and fight in OoT in it. And you compare Zelda to a fully fledged out puzzle game like Portal? Zelda isn't a puzzle game.

Zelda was so huge back then cause it brought adventuring into your living room. Zelda was the first console game with a battery in the cartridge allowing you to save and coming back to the exact point where you left. People loved the exploring, finding secrets by themselves, the dungeon crawling, the bosses. The items. And also the combat. But the combat isn't the main reason. It's the mixture. Every Zelda has it's own atmosphere and feeling. And that won't . Zelda was always the innovator. Not the copy cat. (except Twilight Princess) For better or worse.

Look I'm ok with zelda having some puzzles here and there but make that a side content and not something that is used to force the user to go through to progress the story.

Like I said it's there since the first game and it won't change.

EDIT: it makes you think. There are enough games where you can rush through the story by killing everything.
