As long as your girlfriend understands that you like gaming and doesnt have a problem with it, thats all you need :)
My wife doesnt play many games, but she knows about the games and has a passing interest. She has no issues with me playing them (which is what I would expect of a partner)... but its amazing how many people I work with that have to play games when their partner has gone to bed, or not while Eastenders is on TV... I find it strange that their partners won't budge in terms of letting them enjoy games... it's a crazy world we live in :)
