PS4 GTA exclusivity? That's beyond megaton.

Do you think so? I don't. It will sell massively on current gen and I doubt there will be very good reasons to buy the PS4-version. I think it might look like the pc-version so a current-gen version with higher res and stable framerate.

Higher Res and stable framerate ARE very good reasons.

So are faster loading times, more of the area can be kept in the bigger memory, livelier cities (more cars, more people, less clones), less pop-ups, more detailed textures, better anti-aliasing, better shadows...

GTA4 I bought 3 times (first PS3 & 360, later the PC Complete Edition)... this time I will wait for the PC- or PS4-version. I have so many great titles in my backlog, I can wait a looong time. ;)

If neither a PC- nor a next-gen-version of GTA5 are coming, I can still get the 360- or PS3-version later for a budget price... or the Complete Edition with all DLCs... perhaps even for free for PS+ members.

Indeed a faster FPS/Quality is a massive reason for people to upgrade.

This is one of the biggest games ever, and many people who love open world games would love to get it on the latest consoles/PC. I have GTA 3 about 4 times on different platforms. Rockstar/Taketwo are making massive amounts of money on their back catalogue evertime they release a new game. Some Rockstar games (old ones) were in the PSN top ten again for August I think it was. GTA4 is still in the charts.

Sensible move is sensible.
