Unless your limited by your financial status them you should always mix because you will miss out on some really great games if you choose to be loyal to 1 company.
Nintendo - Mario,Pokemon,Legend of Zelda,Metroid, Fire Emblem, ect...
Sony - Uncharted, Killzone, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, LittleBigPlanet, ect...
Microsoft - Gears of War, Halo, Fable, Forza, Crackdown (can we get another in this series?)
So all 3 have something to offer from the console side but as far as PC even though i have a gaming PC i don't game on it very much at all so i don't have alot of info on what series they have to offer alone sadly.
